"As the hobbits are going up Mount Doom, the Eye of Mordor is being drawn somewhere else," Santorum said. "It's being drawn to Iraq and it's not being drawn to the U.S. You know what? I want to keep it on Iraq. I don't want the Eye to come back here to the United States."

An overwhelmingly powerful army? check!
Enemy occupations? check!
A secret group planning to infiltrate and wreak destruction? check!
The ever present fear that turncoats or double-agents will betray the conspiracy? check!
Evil Henchmen? You decide!
Torturing Prisoners? probably!

Rick "Orc on Warg" Santorum really doesn't want to talk about the Eye of Mordor

Pete Santorum actually said that? The man is deficient in the irony department. I know. He's deficient in so many areas that being irony-challenged isn't normally noticeable.

Good to see one of Texas's finest sons on the list of Nazgul. We're all about sending dunderheads to D.C.

The saddest thing is that he he THINKS when he says that we all understand the Eye of Mordor refers to the terrorists, but of course we all INSTANTLY interpret it as having to do with the current American government, and their desire to keep our attention on Iraq during the elections.

It's funny how someone can be so clueless about such things.
