mcroftTranscribe is an app for playing a piece of recorded music and figuring out what notes and chords are being played (or just how off-key Geddy Lee is).
Very cool. Mac/Linux/that other one. They're very clear that you need to know music to get some value out of it, but the level you need to know isn't too high a hurdle for many of my more musically minded mates.
