Arthur, the duck, is an ordinary duck into which Sheldon somehow uploaded dictionary software, so now he can talk.

Arthur likes to pretend to be a cowboy by riding Sheldon's (extremely unintelligent) pug dog, whose name I don't recall at the moment.

(Sheldon is one of my favorite comics.)

I suppose it's not coincidence that Sheldon's head looks like a butt.
