I think I'm going to enjoy playing in The Ghoul's Nine Princes in High School game at TBR. I've already had one fun thread with [livejournal.com profile] follybard while we worked out character stuff, [livejournal.com profile] immlass and I put on our characters and laughed our fool haids off while we drove to Philly to see the Asylum Street Spankers, and Random keeps giving me things to say. He's such a jackass. :)

Random:"Oh, hi, Ms. Schoenberger, yeah, we're starting a new band. We were gonna name it after you, because we've never had a better home room teacher in all our of sophomore years, but there's already a band called The Judys, so we had to change it. We were gonna go with "Chronic Masturbation" because, hey it's something everyone enjoys, but Vince, our bassist, goes to Catholic School and he doesn't want to let the nuns know he spanks, so what can you do? Then we thought about what the Band was really about and it just had to be called Random's Big Drumstick. Do you think they'd mind if we put up a few posters?"

ETA: I've put Rock and Roll High School on our Netflix queue. Random keeps singing it to me...

Yay! I need to work on TBR stuff tonight, including working out points and traits and stuff for 'Ella. I suspect I will be channelling all the art freaks I hung out with during my summer at the Governor's School for the Arts....

I need to put in my sheet, but I know who I'm playing.

Bleys.

Excellent! I'm going to post my character sheet tonight. [livejournal.com profile] immlass has a great Bleys planned. Now I have to gently suggest to her that she needs to dress like him...

More talking...

Random on Corwin. "Man! I hope I'm not losing my hair when I'm a senior."

Brilliant. It sounds like it's going to be a great game.

It's certainly going to be a goofy game. I always like to find at least one where I can be pretty unserious. Hey, did you ever post your schedule? I don't know if we're gaming together or not.

I don't think I ever posted my schedule. I don't think we're in any games together...

Slot 1: Driving to MA (GM: Me)
Slot 2: Ship of Chaos (GM: Heather Mace)
Slot 3: An Amberite's Price (GM: Paul Weimer)
Slot 4: A Will to Win (GM: Mel Mason)
Slot 5: Hold the Front Page! (GM: Mel Mason)

Being my first ever face-to-face gaming, it was nerve wracking choosing games (and creating characters...).

Yep, we don't, so we'll just see you at the Con and the social stuff.

Oh, and on the last stuff? It all works out, usually. If you do fun things, you'll have fun in the games. And if you don't like a game, it's over soon enough.
