So the purple-clad one commemorated Martha Quinn and Downtown Julie Brown, the people responsible for making him a household symbol, at a Goth Nightspot? I wonder if Adam Curry podcasted the event?

This so dates you...me too. Though I associate the Cenotaph with the green mohawk on Winston Churchill a few years ago. OI! Punk's not dead! Unfortunately, neither is Adam Curry. He's a fixture here in the Netherlands, having settled down with a local model and become an online music mogul.
