I like my job. It's good to do and I am satisfied with the projects I have and the skills I can bring to bear to improve the way the company does business. I feel valued and I look forward to achieving things and being recognized for them.

But today I just want to go home.

nope, Monday we hit the ground running. Blame the stock market. Today is a full trading day.

I'm confused...I thought the stock market normally closed for one day for New Year's? Isn't there normally a national holiday for that? I could have sworn I remembered always getting a day off for that when I had jobs tied to the market.

Well, at least NYE is a Friday, so you've got two days to rest afterwards. :)
