I always assumed they had delicate necks. After hearing that sound, I will never think that again.

"Necking", I think, is what they call it. They use their heads like a mace at the end of that long-necked flail, and aim mostly for the ribcage with their horns. Normally it doesn't get this brutal; just a lot of display and swinging, but not much impact. These guys were serious about whatever they were fighting over, though.
