My training thing is being held at Glen Lake, a Methodist center outside of DFW. They have already put wreaths on every door, garland on all the light posts and are starting to put up icicle lights on all eaves.
And one of the topics for OUR training is cultural misappropriation.
(Baby Jesus wants you to light a tree on fire and roll it down a hill!)
On that charity walk I just worked for in Austin, we decorated the sweep van with Halloween and Christmas decorations, dubbing it the "van of holiday confusion", because at the Wal-Mart where we picked up the van, both types of decorations were on the shelf. At the same time. So wrong.
