Apropos of musical discussions previously held.

Yesterday (or perhaps today) MakeMusic! Software released the freeware version of Finale Notepad 2005 for OS X and Windows. I've downloaded it to play around with, and it looks like it's a word processor for music.

I'm gonna play with it and see what it can do.
