(no subject)

If I thought I could win (for instance, if I had a huge windfall in the next two days), I'd try to get this huge collection of Judys/Dishes music from ebay. I have a bunch of the music, but I don't have all of it.

There are 4 days to go in the auction and it's over $100 already. Somebody is going to do well. Two somebodies, actually.

Liz: (only because RT has already been set up...)

Michael: it should all be easy.
Michael: ftp is very primitive.  not many commands in the set...

Liz: Only because I have the Mike duo at two of my inputs (eyes and ears, you dirty mind)

Michael: I am always happy to be part of a threesome involving you, the "put" command, and the "get" command...

Liz: Mikey says he's rather mput and mget -- more fun

Michael: so indiscriminate, though.  Who knows what you'll mget? btw, are you going to get mad when I post this conversation to LJ?

Liz: muppet says not if he blogs about it first...
Liz: except that he's still at Walmart

Lesson learned: It's important to compete against people who can't start until they get home from Walmart.
