Won't Get Fooled Again

The Socialist Realism Art web site's Lenin Page is very odd (via.

However, it's got me writin' rhymes again...
I used to wake up in the morning
I used to feel so bad
I got so sick of missing my quotas
I went and told my comrade

He said, 'Tovarish take this little something'
And stuck them on my wall
And now my nights ain't quite so lonely
In fact I, I don't feel bad at all

Pictures of Lenin made my life so wonderful
Pictures of Lenin helped me sleep at night
Pitcures of Lenin solved my childhood problems
Pictures of Lenin helped me feel alright

"He's been dead since nineteen twenty-four!"
Oh how I cried that night.
If only I'd been born in Lenin's time,
Things would be all right.

I can see why you didn't attempt the second verse - you would have had to come up with a rhyme for "Lenin". Maybe "confessions I was pennin'"?

And really that website would have been much better if it could have gotten a .gov domain. We should propose a bill, that websites mocking the communists can have free .gov domains! Congress is always looking for stuff to do that doesn't piss of any constituencies and seems patriotic.

You don't find commercial socialist realism to be the least be ironic, then?
