Dragons of the MPAA

It looks like there's going to be a Dragonlance Animated Movie, voiced by Jack Bauer and Xena. The animators seem to have a TV background and the distribution is by Paramount.

My prediction is "worse than Dungeons and Dragons, better than Mazes and Monsters". Anyone want to bet?

Voiced by Kiefer?
That's just not right.

Yup, Brennan plays Raistlin. He's the star...

Taking a tumble...

...I actually saw the Dungeon and Dragons sequel tonight. I think it was better than the original. [tries not to sputter with laughter]

Heh, we OWN the D&D sequel... I think it's better, but that's a backhanded compliment if I ever heard one.

Wait, your prediction is based on the idea that Dungeons & Dragons was better than Mazes and Monsters?

Being hit in the teeth with a ball peen hammer is better than Mazes and Monsters.

I, admittedly, haven't seen MampM, but the DampD movie is the second worst movie I've ever seen, and it's only not the worst because Eyes Wide Shut had a real budget and a real director and real actors.

Don't see M&M. It's so bad it's bad, not so bad it's good.

Don't be dissin' the Great Hall, yo.

Well considering I've enjoyed every TV show the director has been involved in, I'm cautiously optimistic.

Wait a cotton-pickin' minute. The director is Will Meugniot? Co-creator of the DNAgents?

Maybe this won't suck.

Could be. I'm betting in the "low expectations" category, where if I win, I win and if I lose, I win.

Some TV animation translates well to the screen. We'll see what we get.

Ugh, we'll have to go see this too, to celebrate out teenage relationship. Raistlin was still hanging in my livingroom when Fiona was born. Please, dog of movies, don't let this suck too bad!
