Notes to Cow orkers: Series 12: Episode L

Of course, I am aware of your zeal and spirit, but I find it necessary to remind you that while there is a holiday that is traditionally invoked as "the holiday after which it is still too early to decant the Christmas Decorations", you seem to have misidentified it. The traditional holiday is "Halloween", as in 'the day after Halloween is still too early to break out the Christmas Decorations'.

If you throw down a Santa filled with cinnamon potpourri the day after Labor Day, then you're a little too festive. You may find that you have expended everyone else's Holiday Tolerance for Christmas Cheesiness by Columbus Day.

In short words, please get rid of Santa for a few more months. That is all.

Perhaps the Santa is in need of some new adornments, more in line with the season.

If National Bring Your Dog to Work Day is coming up, I can think of an adornment. :)

Perhaps it's just a doll *dressed up* like Santa for Halloween.

(Oh, I wish I were there to add the tiny trick or treat bag and a sign that says, "Happy Halloween."

Or a little mask to make him look like Jack Skellington....

Cinnamon potpourri should only come out AFTER it gets cold.

I realize this means you get to use it for 5 minutes in Houston, but there you have it.
