Busy, busy, busy

Had an excellent weekend that kept me running around like crazy and seeing and meeting people I've known on-line for years. immlass and I hosted follybard, prince_corwin, adpaz. tristam, faespinner, knave_of_amber, shadowflyer, and Olof for an afternoon/evening of gamer chatter. I later described it as "3 years of after-game conversation all in one day." Lots of fun. Sunday follybard, prince_corwin, Olof, immlass and I met la_directora for kicking around Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, and the Village. Mostly it was eating and walking, although we did a little light shopping ("ooh! Four Dollar chineese slippers. Puuuurple slippers...")

Much fun. Too busy to look at email (although most people who mail me were at the casa), but very happy and I got a lot of energy out of it.

Really looking forward to The Black Road in a week.

Except it was immlass that bought them. :) When she discovered $4 purple shoes, it was like manna from heaven. At least that's what it looked like from the happy look on her face.
